INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
The Union of Turkish Bar Associations is a member of major international bar associations:
- The Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) (Associate Member)
- International Bar Associations (IBA)
- European Bar Federation (FBE)

The Union of Turkish Bar Associations maintains good relations and a substantial cooperation with the above mentioned international institutions.
Nothwithstanding its above mentioned memberships and cooperation, UTBA has friendly bilateral relations with the American Bar Association (ABA), Bar Associations of Balkan Countries and the Union of Arab Lawyers (ELU). Mr. Vedat Ahsen Coşar is also, currently, the President of Blacksea Countries Bar Association.
